My last 50 years
For the last 20 years before retirement, I was in sales for a wire mill in the Stony Road section of Paterson. I worked with companies all over the US as well as some in Europe. When Randy retired, we operated our own small limo service before he became ill. I've been retired for over 3 years now and living the life of leisure in Central Massachusetts. We enjoyed traveling and were fortunate to visit many of our states in our own motor home when the girls were young. What a great way to see the country. We also traveled to other places outside the US. Of the many places we went , Aruba was always our favorite and I still try to go back every year. I spend some time in NJ with my daughter and her family(twin six year olds and a 12 yr. old). The two youngest are up here in Upton. I serve as a member of the Council on Aging as well as donating a few hours a month delivering meals on wheels to our homebound. I have also joined a ministry called "Beginning Experience" which offers help and insight to people who have lost their partner through death, divorce, and separation. This group offers people an opportunity to turn the pain of loss into an experience of positive growth. It wasn't easy making a move at this period of time but becoming involved in worthwhile endeavors has helped make the transition easier and introduced me to some wonderful new friends. Looking forward to the cruise!
